Charissa is an American sportscaster born on the 5th of May 1982. ESPN analyst that was appointed as cohost of SportsNation for 2012 She was the host of the ABC program Splash together with Joey Lawrence. She was co-hosting the ABC show Splash together with Joey Lawrence.. Thompson was born and raised in Seattle Washington. The youngest of three children she was aware of her desire to be a journalist from an early age. She attended Inglemoor High School at Kenmore Washington. Thompson relocated to California and attended the community college. Later, she transferred onto her home institution, the University of California Santa Barbara, where she received an B.A. In 2004, she earned a B.A. from Law and Society.
