Jeanie Marie Buss is an American businesswoman. She is currently the president and owner-controller of the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss hails originally from California was born into an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss' father was an entrepreneur in real estate who was later a part owner of the Lakers and several other companies in the field of sports. When her parents broke up in 1972, she was convinced that they'd left her. In the year 19 she became the General Manager of Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis team. She then founded the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. Before she became vice president of the Lakers in 2013, she was president of the Great Western Forum. Buss as well as her five sisters took over his Lakers control following the death of Bussher father in 2013. Every sister was given equal rights. She was named president of Los Angeles Lakers. Buss co-owns Women of Wrestling an pro-wrestling promotional company based in Los Angeles.
