Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes the soul of gospel and jazz with R&B with a distinctive mix. Her career path has taken her from Broadway to European events and clubs, up to her participation in the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine is Denise White. While she is living in Atlanta at present, Sunshine comes from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she first began her journey as a musician singing and playing in the church in town. Her musical career began in Atlanta in Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was called Stalk You which was a house 12-inch released only in Japan; it has since been remixed by a variety of producers and has become an essential part of her live set. She also lent her voice to the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. The band was hired as the main keyboardist of Tyler Perry's play Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday, a Grammy- and Tony Award winning vocalist who has worked on stage production Dreamgirls in the National Black Arts Festival of Atlanta in 2007, approached her to be the choral leader for the stage production. Sunshine received national attention for her daily shows at the Democratic National Convention. She was then invited to perform at President Barack Obama's 2009 inauguration.
