Cynthia Louise Bissett, vice President at Verizon Mobile. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr., a businessman and director of an Internet network company was her father. His family is Catholic and she was raised on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. To get around these circumstances, she and her family enrolled in the Convent of the Sacred Heart which is a revered and prestigious school. It was a passion for her from the age of a child. The first time she played the piano at the age of a young girl. In her teens she penned her first song. She was a participant in open mic nights. Her most loved singers included Queen Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. She pursued a degree in music at New York University Tisch School of Art following her secondary schooling. They did not allow her to finish her courses, but instead she left the school to start her musical career.
